Clunia

From Peñalba de Castro, there is a road leading to the archaeological remains of the Roman city of Clunia, where the Roman theatre is clearly visible. It was one of the largest in Hispania with a capacity for 9,000 spectators. It is carved out of the rock. There are also public baths and the Roman forum, where two big roads meet.
